Well this page has seen a big set of changes, a couple of years ago it was all about teaching lighting and doing lighting designs. Currently although I do lots of thinking, marking, designing by proxy and writing about lighting designs what friends from the lighting world will most often hear me say is "I am frustrated about not designing at the moment".

Other important things have replaced that for the moment so its not the whole story, I am teaching many great students, I do have a hand in the education of many more at the Bretton Campus of The University of Leeds, and there is lots going on in my world of research and writing (when time allows). On top of that my personal life is much more stable because I have a regular income, house and have been in the same job for more than 18 months. Having said all that, watch this space, the intention is still to get back to designing lights for real.
